I did! I’m writing a short post about that specifically.

From what I saw it was all across the board. Some had a “Home” link available permanently, some made it available after you drove further into the site, and some didn’t have it at all.

I’m doing a user test on each scenario and I will post my results in an article here in the next couple weeks.

Did you analyse if there is a trend on whether or not to include a home link as the first item in a horizontal main navigation?

Do users expect a link to home, or is it suffice to rely on clicking the logo or a home link outside of the main navigation? Should the main navigation just cover the product range (your user goals), and therefore a home link is just taking up valuable real estate?
