		<description>When reading the part on glyphs and illustrations, I immediately thought of the drawing game Pictionary from the 80s (I&#039;m sure it&#039;s online now as well) as an example of communicating through an interface ... and maybe a simple metaphor for effective interface design?  The game speaks to user recognition of universally known symbols/objects, the speed of that recognition, the accuracy of the execution, etc.  Maybe Pictionary should be part of the UI curriculum, or at least a little light brain training for interface designers. Ha!</description>
