Sarah Parmenter is the founder of You Know Who, a web-design studio in Leigh-on-Sea, UK. You Know Who has been around since 2003, so Sarah has an extensive portfolio in many areas of design. You Know Who also works with iPhone app UI development. Sarah and her team have worked on some really great looking websites and apps. Sarah has multiple points of recognition, and showcases her work on a regular basis on her Flickr. Follow Sarah on Twitter: @sazzy.
Lisa works with Crush + Lovely, a web creative group who build absolutely cool websites, such as this one, this one, and lots more. Lisa is the interaction designer alongside Jina Bolton at C+L, but she also finds time to work freelance.

The main thing Jina wants you to know is that she likes sushi and robots. Beyond that, Jina is a superstar interface designer, working over at Crush + Lovely alongside Lisa Moseley. Previous to C+L, Jina worked at Apple as a visual interaction designer and front end web developer. Check out her interaction portfolio here! Follow Jina on Twitter: @jina
Amy’s father loved repairing computers. This could explain why Amy was building websites by the time she was in high school, and learning PHP shortly after she graduated, going on to work for Pictures in Motion, a start-up company, then on to blubolt. Amy is an XHTML and CSS wizard. Follow Amy on Twitter: @amerz
Eva-Lotta is an Interaction Designer for Skype who has worked for Yahoo and Kahn + Associates, an agency who specializes in information architecture and interface design. Her experience precludes her. Go check out her work! Follow Eva-Lotta on Twitter: @evalottchen
With clients such as Verizon Wireless, Warner Bros. Online, the Blue Cross, Genentech and Wells Fargo, Kelly has made her mark in the industry of interaction design and user experience research. She also has found time to write Web ReDesign 2.0: Workflow that Works. Kelly Goto also is the CEO of gotomedia, where her team of associates have worked with people such as the developers of the MP3 format. Check out the portfolio! Follow Kelly on Twitter: @go2girl
Marie is a freelancer who has gained some awesome experience by working for companies like Thinkhouse Design as their lead web designer and developer. Marie has a great looking portfolio of work she has done in the past for both Thinkhouse and on her own. Make sure you check it out!

Larissa Meek has done it all, folks. From her modeling career to her education in 3D modeling, to her finalist position in the Miss USA pageant, to her role in reality TV, Larissa has had a lot of world experience. She now works for AgencyNet, an interactive design company based in Los Angeles. AgencyNet’s long list of clients and amazing flash design make Larissa a perfect fit for our list. Follow Larissa on Twitter: @Larissameek
Lea Alcantara works for her own Lealea Design, where she has done some incredible work. She has been featured on multiple design websites (check them out in her footer on her site). Follow Lea on Twitter: @lealea
Megs has a really cool portfolio (that’s the first thing we noticed) as well as a great resume. She is also part of the Krop Creative Database. Megs worked for The Brownstein Group, a company who also works for IKEA. We love IKEA. Her clients while working for The Brownstein Group also include Microsoft and Sungard. Nice list Jonathan! Thx!
Awesome list of women, I’m going to check out each and every one right now! Good stuff.
Nice list. I knew some of these gals but it is interesting to know a little more about their background. Thanks for including their twitter handles too.
All awesome people.
Add Shannon Farrell (http://shannonfarrell.com/).
It’s a shame they are all dreadful designers.
Let’s face it, Meek and Parmenter are only the list because they look like every nerd’s dream girlfriends.
+1. Not to mention they forgot to include Veerle Pieters and Cindi Li (who are actually real designers!)
Actually, Veerle was considered, but not chosen because she isn’t primarily an interface designer. Cindy Li’s work is great, we just can’t include everyone in the post. :)
Have you actually seen her work?…..?
I have to agree with Phil. If you want to talk serious design no one is rockin the iPhone space like Jen Gordon (and i’m not just saying that b/c she’s my neighbor):

Great suggestion! Jen’s work looks great! Perhaps she will surface in the next feature. :) All of these submissions from you guys are great!
